In the March Vogue issue there was a brilliant photoshoot welcoming back the monochrome trend, and I will gladly welcome it with open arms! For the first outfit I chose play on the masculine/feminine trend with a collared shirt and peg trousers but also a black corset and platform heels. I also added pearls to the top of the corset for a contrast between the striped shirt. This outfit would be perfect for in the office/in the daytime with a blazer and black court heels and also would be great for meeting friends for a drink. The second outfit contains a simple cropped top and a femenine frilled net cardigan. With this I have a 'paper bag' black skirt and black heeled boots to show a strong contrast and make the white top stand out. For the evening wear a dip back or mini skirt, statement jewellery cropped jacket and heels.

Monochrome- Vogue Inspired
In the March Vogue issue there was a brilliant photoshoot welcoming back the monochrome trend, and I will gladly welcome it with open arms! For the first outfit I chose play on the masculine/feminine trend with a collared shirt and peg trousers but also a black corset and platform heels. Outfit Of The Day-
Hooded dress
I bought this dress years ago in the Miss Selfridge sale and although it is not the easiest thing to wear I have promised myself I will never throw it away as it has never really been in or gone out of fashion. It has an elasticated waist and silver detailing and a large hood that drapes across your back. Here I have chosen to match it with some statement necklaces and bright plum tights. This dress is fairly versatile as it could be worn in the evening as well as the day, for a party wear with a sequin/glittery belt and nude tights and thick block coloured wedge heels

Louis Vuitton- 60s
I'm extremely happy that many of the big designers are again embracing the 60s fashion trends and Louis Vuittons Paris Fashion Week show was one of the best for me following closely the stereotypical FADs of the 1960s with shift dresses, platform heels and beehive hairstyles.
Dyed clothes-D.I.Y
I have explained before how simple space dying is and thought I would show you some of the clothes I have dyed using Dylon cold water dyes. The shorts were also originally flared jeans so I cut them to the shape they are in the photo and dyed them. Although some may see dyed clothes as immature or 'last years trend' the designers obviously know otherwise as they were still showing dyed pieces on their catwalks this year, for example house of holland at London Fashion Week (as shown below).
Princess-esque

After watching the Grammy's and the BAFTAs I have become seriously jealous of the gorgeous celebs and I am in awe of every single one of beautiful dresses- which Hollywood's elite wear with pride and sophistication even though they have probably worn a dress just as glamorous every other day of that week. So I dug out the sparkles for this glittery, princess style outfit.

Outfit Of the Day- Bling and Black
I'm a huge fan of anything glitzy and so love to pile on the jewelry! Here I have added some colour and 'bling' to a fairly plain black outfit to make it more unique. For the daytime team it with an Aztec cardy and for the evening add those killer heels and hit the dance floor!!
