Outfit of the day- Leather, pink and low V neck

Spring Floral

Lace Top 4 Ways

Lace has been everywhere this spring, from the Valentino S/S13 catwalk to the awards ceremonies. Its delicate and feminine whilst still being sexy, Louise Roe chose this beautiful yet revealing lace dress for the golden globes with a high slit and high waisted under skirt. I've recently bought the lace top worn in these photos and have found it so versatile! Its pretty lace pattern makes it interesting but it goes with almost everything as it is black. The first look shows off the detailed back of the dress well whereas the second look would be perfect for a night out-just layer the top over a sequin dress and add black platform heels. Looks 3 and 4 are more casual and show how adding a splash of colour can give the outfit a fun feel whilst still being girly.

Monochrome- Vogue Inspired

In the March Vogue issue there was a brilliant photoshoot welcoming back the monochrome trend, and I will gladly welcome it with open arms! For the first outfit I chose play on the masculine/feminine trend with a collared shirt and peg trousers but also a black corset and platform heels. I also added pearls to the top of the corset for a contrast between the striped shirt. This outfit would be perfect for in the office/in the daytime with a blazer and black court heels and also would be great for meeting friends for a drink. The second outfit contains a simple cropped top and a femenine frilled net cardigan. With this I have a 'paper bag' black skirt and black heeled boots to show a strong contrast and make the white top stand out. For the evening wear a dip back or mini skirt, statement jewellery cropped jacket and heels.

Outfit Of The Day-

I am loving all things skater skirt at the minute as you may have realised by my past few posts so today's outfit of the day again has yep you guessed it...a skater skirt. I have added my green net top under my leapard bralet to contrast with the sand/camel skirt. I have also added an underskirt to make the skirt more full, the turquoise belt to break up the pieces and a small gold brooch to make the outfit yet more girly and fun. For an evening look swap the skirt for black mini shorts and black painfully high heels and a statement black clutch bag.

Hooded dress

I bought this dress years ago in the Miss Selfridge sale and although it is not the easiest thing to wear I have promised myself I will never throw it away as it has never really been in or gone out of fashion. It has an elasticated waist and silver detailing and a large hood that drapes across your back. Here I have chosen to match it with some statement necklaces and bright plum tights. This dress is fairly versatile as it could be worn in the evening as well as the day, for a party wear with a sequin/glittery belt and nude tights and thick block coloured wedge heels

Goldie Playsuit- Blake Lively inspired

After seeing this old photo of Blake lively from 2009 I was reminded how great a simple playsuit can look and how accessories can easily be added to one to change its mood/occasion. I have worn mine with a silk floral bralet and heels for an evening look but it will be perfect in the summer to throw over a bikini on the beach. I have chosen to accessorize with heavy drop chain earrings and a knotted leopard belt but for a simple chic look wear it on its own with statement heels (as Blake is above). I bought my playsuit from the Goldie stall at the clothes show live but Topshop also stock the Goldie playsuits! Below I have shown it in black but many if the colours are now in the sale from £52 to £25 at www.Topshop.com
